Dover splits fairly cleanly between houses that predate the appliance and houses built around it. Tree cover has its own effect. Power cuts are not unusual here, and a built-in that comes back from one clicking every few minutes is reporting a starting problem — the relay, the overload, or a compressor trying to start against pressure that has not equalised. That is worth a phone call on day one rather than day three, because a unit that keeps attempting to start is not doing itself any good.
